Location:

Columbia River Gorge.

Experience:

8000 miles wingfoiling as of December 2024

Weight:

86-91kg depending on dry vs wet weight, sometimes even more in full winter gear.

Style:

I'm winging and riding on swell while specifically looking for down the line, wave like setups. I prefer top to bottom turns with fast rail to rail action. I am equally at home in small to large swell. If it's flat, I usually spend my time sailing around exploring the river and/or working on more aggressive tacks and 360s. I use the wing to help me park and play, working the same section of swell for up to 3 hours a session. I commonly sail many miles away from my launch to hunt down better swell locations and a lack of crowds.

Gear preference:

I am always looking for the highest performing gear for my style.
